Architetti ‘Americani’ in Europa

Architetti ‘Americani’ in Europa isimli kitap Avrupa’nın çeşitli ülkelerinde pratik yapan mimarların işlerini bir araya getiriyor. / The book brings together the works of architects practising in various countries in Europe.

Kitaptan / from the book:

”This catalogue, Architetti “Americani” in Europa, is the collection of the panels shown at the exhibition in Turin, from 15 to 22 of June 2007, in the wonderful “Sala delle Colonne” at the “Castello del Valentino”, prestigious representative seat of the Facoltà di Architettura del Politecnico di Torino.“Americani” is in quotes because only some of us are really American citizens: what we have in common is our membership of the American Institute of Architects. Panels show different ways of being architects: the common denominator is our desire to share our experience, knowledge and culture with each other. Now, in Turin, in the academic context we have a good opportunity to have a cultural exchange. Except for the format and the logo, the panels are all different, to express the personality of the firms involved. Most of the panels were exhibited at Build Up Expo, Milan, in February 2007. The success of the exhibition at the stand of the American Institute of Architects – Continental Europe Chapter, with the title “Architetti Americani a Milano” leads us to exhibit again. Turin is the first stage.”
